Sun Butter is our smooth, nourishing outdoor balm made with grass-fed & finished Alberta beef tallow, 20% non-nano zinc oxide, and thoughtfully chosen botanical oils.

Touch Grass adds a fresh, invigorating blend of lemongrass, lavender and eucalyptus essential oils to our Sun Butter base. It's quickly become one of our most popular scent blends; everyone but the bugs seems to love it.

Made for garden days, lake days, camping trips, ball games, chasing kids through the sprinkler, and all the other good reasons to put down your phone, touch some grass, and stay outside a little longer.

Unlike the thick, chalky zinc products you may remember, Sun Butter was formulated to massage smoothly into the skin with none of that heavy white cast. Raspberry seed, carrot seed, and jojoba oils round out the formula, while locally sourced tallow provides the rich, skin-loving base we're known for.

HOW TO USE:

Gently massage into exposed skin before heading outside. Reapply every two hours or as needed and after swimming.

Sun Butter is made with natural oils, tallow, and beeswax, so keep your tin out of direct sunlight and high heat when possible. If it gets warm, the texture may soften. She's butter. It's kind of in the name.

Sun Butter is a cosmetic outdoor skincare product and has not been evaluated by Health Canada for efficacy (yet!). It is not intended to treat or prevent ailments or replace standard sun protection measures. That's why we don't say out loud that it helps prevent star damage at the level equivalent to the US legal drinking age plus four.
